While filming some shots for Apple TV's Tiny World, we stopped off at the Macaw Recovery Network in Punta Islita, Costa Rica. The non-profit rescues and breeds the macaws, while also managing the Wild Macaw Reserve and helping the reintroduced population. They do this by supplementary feeding them in the mornings, not enough food to make them reliant, but enough to give the birds the boost they need in the area.

I love the sunlight coming through the trees in this shot, and giving the macaw a glowing outline.
